1996 bay gelding, 16hh, by Salut 84 (holsteiner) out of Fleety Jana xx (approved Canadian Trakehner). Salut 84 is one of the last remaining grandsons of Cottage Son, one of four stallions used to develop the modern Holsteiner bloodline. Before importation to Canada in the 80’s by top Canadian dressage rider Cara Witham, he competed successfully in S level jumper classes and was German Champion 21 times. He is also known for the quality of his movement and is now used as a flagship stallion in a breeding program. Socrate has very good conformation, is well mannered and has been professionally trained. He shows an aptitude not only for dressage but also as a top hunter prospect. Also, four year old full sister and four year old half sister available.
