"Val" is a 12 year old ASPC registered Silver Dapple Foundation Shetland mare. She is very "old style" and looks like the pony from your childhood! Val was trained to ride when young but had only been used as a broodmare the last several years. We've had her in the past couple of weeks and the kids have been working with her and she's ready now for leadline and without much more work she will be ready for the kids to ride on their own on trails. She is ultrasounded in foal for 2007 and all paperwork is in order to register the foal. She came to us as part of a package deal and doesn't fit our breeding program so she's looking for a new home and a child to love her! She is excellent with children and does very well in a herd situation.
