BJ is a nice horse that my 13 yr. old daughter has been having a heap of fun on! He is a QH/Arab cross. He would best be suited for an intermediate or better rider. He's great on trails, been exposed to deer, dogs, cats, goats, kids, skid loader, dump trucks, traffic, etc. He will go out alone or with others. Will ride front, middle or last in the group. Doesn't bully to be up front. He has that typical arab nature about him...he rides with his head up. Once he realized though that you are NOT going to the races, he'll relax and drop his head nicely for trail riding. He neck reins, picks up the walk, trot and cantor with great ease. He has a great handle on him. I think if you put some time on him, he could definately be a gaming prospect. He's very quick, quite athletic and has speed, Speed and MORE SPEED when asked. He's not uncontrolable though. Just wouldn't make a good beginner horse because of his speed and easy neck reining. Super nice, very quiet, will come right up to you in the pasture.
