May is a wonderful mare at about 6-7 years old. She is wonderful with kids. My daughter only 2 1/2 can brush her, and ride her with someone leading. She can easily be ridden by a somewhat expierenced kid. She is 14.2 so not scary to anyone. Great temperment.A daily workout or at least 4 times a week ride to keep her in shape she loves trails . Very smart, you show her one thing and she has it forever. She does need some finishing so an expierenced rider or trainer would help once a week
