Pure Spanish, revised, flea bitten grey mare. By Hacendoso IX and out of Damieta, this elegant and dramatic mare is wonderful to ride and gorgeous to look at! She is quite dominant in a herd, but extremely connected to people and would flourish in a one-person/one-horse situation as she pines for more attention than our large herd gets. She was originally trained under saddle in Mexico and ridden very little the last 6 years since she has been used as a broodmare, but is so kind that even if ridden once a year, she behaves beautifully. Back in training as of 10/24/04.
She has been an extraordinarily easy breeder and had easy and regular deliveries. Incauta has never missed cycles getting pregnant and delivered 6 healthy foals in a row. She has, however, not had enough milk for her last two foals and her 2004 foal was given to a nurse mare. In a home where someone had more time to supplement bottle feeding the baby, she is a great broodmare or would be a fabulous prospect for an embryo transfer.
