If you are looking for a top competition horse Hi Jive has the natural qualities to get you there. This horse should also excel at Working cowhorse,
has a beautiful flowing lope, (your horse has to look good, be exciting to watch while doing what you are showing in if you want to win) very athletic, quick, wants to learn, and a get it done type attitude, very good minded, excellent conformation, long black mane/tail.
Hi Jive was imprinted (correctly at birth) has been worked in the round pen,
has driving training, approx. 45 days of light riding (extremely light reined)
easy catch. The basics are sound. His feet are naturally balanced, Taught to stand Square, leads no pressure on lead line, lowers head (to put on halter/bridle), much, much, more!!!
The longer you own him the more you will enjoy him.
The Poco Nifty Pep/Hands Up cross seems to be one of those breeding nicks that work, Excellent lines! with a shot of Hancock, Oklahoma Star.
To give you an example of capabilities, the other day (it was wet and muddy)
Hi Jive and another gelding was running wide open (which is a lot faster than most horses can even run) putting on the brakes sliding thru this slop, spun around on his rearend and away again running.
If you are a serious horseperson you will like this gelding.
