His daddy might have been an Appy, but Kota dosen't have a single spot or roam mark on him. This guy has wonderful potential and is going to make a great horse. Right now he is about 15 hands and solid with nice thick, long legs. He has the bone structure to be extremely athletic, great hunter/jumper prospect. He clips, and is good about picking up all 4 feet. He loads with very little coaxing, no pulling or pushing required, and trailers quietly without a drop of sweat. Kota is a very cool and relaxed sort of guy. Not to mention too cute. He would make a great 4-H project. Currently he is excelling in hand, we have been working on various showmanship patters. He squares up, pivots when asked to turn. He has been saddled and bridled. He takes the bit like he has been doing it for years! He works well on the lunge line, listens to voice commands, makes the transition within 3 or 4 steps of being asked. He works perfectly on the long line, bending and collecting with ease.
