Mystic Connection is a substantial, beautifully conformed thoroughbred with a great deal of presence. He has powerful, elastic movement, a wonderful temperament, excellent character, and tons of jumping ability. He exhibits a very confident, self-assured personality. Mystic Connection's bloodlines represent some of the top national and internationally proven jumping bloodlines available in North America. His sire, Macsen's Sword, produced top hunter/jumpers and event horses including: My True Knight; Amber Lust; and International Event Mare Guinevere's Gift.
His dam, Mystic High, was the USCTA mare of the year in 1988. She was a very successful international event horse by the outstanding sire Babamist, whose offspring have proven themselves to be very successful in the eventing world. A few of Babamist's prodigy include Heyday, who was a Pan Am Gold Medalist, Olympic Silver Medalist, and World Championship Bronze Medalist ridden by Bruce Davidson; Snowy River, who was a member of the USCTA Team at the European Championship at Burghley in 1987 and ridden by Phyllis Dawson; Chamikazi ridden by Kim Morani; Epiphany ridden by Cynthia Holz; Good Force ridden by Lisa Lewis; Mystic Milo ridden by Mary Hazzard, My Turn ridden by Mary Hazzard, Patrick Anyway ridden by Linden Wiesmann, and many others, too numerous to list.
