This 1992 APHA sorrel and white, 15.1 HH tobiano gelding, is a great all-around horse. “Buck” is predominantly a western performance horse. He has been show in western pleasure, western equitation, and hunter under saddle, English equitation, showmanship, and trail. He has an excellent jog, but can also long trot for English events. Would also do well in western riding, and possibly reining. Buck has earned many championships and high points in his show career. He has a very laid back attitude, is naturally slow, and has great conformation and muscling. He enjoys trail riding as well as showing. Buck loves attention and is a real people-friendly horse!
He has bloodlines of Lucky Straw, Impressive, and Sonny Dee Bar. Buck is HYPP N/N. His sire is Royals Impression, AQHA halter horse and sire. His dam, Two Tone Straw, is a western pleasure point earner and full sister to He’s A Straw; APHA ROM earner and champion stallion, and Cinnamon Straw; ROM and APHA Honor Roll mare. Two Tone Straw has produced many halter and performance point earners.
Buck is in the process of being registered with the Pinto Horse Association (PtHA). For the past six years he has been shown by a youth who is now moving on to college and not interested in showing. Will be shown until sold, and can be seen and/or picked up at or after the Oregon State 4-H Horse Fair on August 19, 2002. He will make an excellent youth show horse for the APHA and/or PtHA circuit shows!
