**2002 USDF Aged Stallion CHAMPION - Region 4 - UNDEFEATED In Hand Dressage Aged Stallion - Van is a purebred Friesian stallion with exemplary breeding including a full sister that is a 1st premie ster mare. Van is tall, with good bone and should mature to 17 hands. He has extraordinary movement combined with an absolutely lovely dispostion (he is wonderful to handle and is very gentle), combined with the phenomenal FRIESIAN presence. If you are a Friesian lover, Van's very long and heavy mane, forelock, tail and feathers will impress you. Van's foal crops have consisted of lovely, long legged, large boned, very typy babies. This stallion should definitely be one you look to for EVERYTHING that is good in a Friesian to cross to your quality mare. Van has started his show career this season and has shown himself to have quality dressage type gaits with a 68.5% at his first in hand dressage rated show (1st Aged Stallions, 1st Aged Horse, Res. Champion In Hand all ages, all sexes) and a 73.5% at his second rated dressage show (1st Aged Stallion, Res. Champion Aged Horse) as well as definitely possessing the "love to show".
