Bart is a yearling yellow dun gelding with a sweet disposition and lots of dun markings: brown/black tips on his ears, leg striping and speckles, a red/brown dorsal stripe, with a saddle over his shoulders and darker coloring along his creat. He has a lot of mane and tail for a yearling! Bart can also be double registered as a buckskin.
Bart leads and is great for the vet. He's loaded in a trailer several times as a foal, as travelled well. He's current on shots, worming, etc., and about to have his first farrier experience!! He lives in a herd and gets along with the horses and goats just fine. Bart has three smooth gaits, and shows balance and athleticism in whatever he is doing. He's also growing again!
We have too many horses, so he and one of his herdmates are for sale. A homebred, we own his dam, who has a wonderful personality. Bart's sire is also a yellow dun, and carries 33% Poco Bueno blood. His dam is extremely well bred, being a great grandaughter of Doc Bar and a great granddaughter of Two Eyed Jack. With his strong performance pedigree, Bart will excel at whatever job you give him - whether it's reining, cutting, ranch work, western pleasure or trail.
Suitable as a 4H youth or amateur project, he'll be a super horse to own!!
