Buddy is a 5yr old Standardbred gelding. he currently stands @ 17h. he is a dark dapple bay. was being trained for harness racing as a 2yr old but never raced. broke as a 3yr old to ride using parelli natural horsemanship methods.Very calm in any situation. has been in parads,carried flags,used for pony rides at the race track. excellent ground manners. big puppy dog!. although he is very quiet and gental on the ground, he has alot of energy in the saddle and loves to go. he has been used in 4-H for 3 years by an experienced intermediate rider. he has never had professional training. knows leads,neckreins,rollbacks. he has done barrel racing,pole bending, and alot of ditch riding. he is road and traffic safe. just recently we discovered he loves to jump and is quit good at it, with more training he would be a good jumping horse. We feel that Buddy would do best with a confident rider who can teach him new things. we are asking $3500 canadian obro. trades may be considered for buckskin mare well broke with foal, or 2 broke qh's mares or geldings.
