Count on Carats has been ridden english, western, and has been started on barrels. He is big, but agile and fast. He does turns on the forehand, pivots, sidepasses, two tracks, canter departures from the walk and standstill. He is very light, has a nice disposition. Would make excellent amateur owner prospect, or team roping or barrel prospect. He is currently with a professional trainer and will be shown at area barrel races until sold.Right now we're doing time only's on him. We haven't asked him to run yet, but on a full sized pattern he is loping low 20's. When asked to stretch out a bit, he's turning in high 18's. He shows tremendous athletic ability and an enormous amount of speed. With a bit more seasoning, we believe this horse will be running 1 D times and a contender at the rodeos.
